Self-reported 52-week abstinence rates:
  2007-08 24.5%
  2006-07 Not Supplied
  2005-06 16%

52-week abstinence rate assessed by:

CO-verified
Telephone
Letter

Sample used: Not Supplied

How 52-week abstinence rate figures are obtained:
Method - We contact all 4 week quitters initially by phone and then those that we don't talk to with a follow up letter with tear off response slip. There is a high LTFU rate and no CO verification. Qtr 4 of last year was a pilot using outsourced managed phone calls where each client is phoned x 3 in the early evening. It seems to have better contact rates.
