This year (2008) sees the first of a series of annual online surveys being conducted that aims to improve our understanding of the role of smoking cessation practitioners in the UK. All SCP’s are encouraged to take part regardless of the amount of time they spend on smoking cessation in their role.

The aim of this study is to examine methods used for CO verification of abstinence by Stop Smoking Services, with a view to developing guidelines for best practice. It is an SCSRN led project funded by the Department of Health.

The aim of this study is to test the feasibility of developing a tool to facilitate word of mouth referrals to NHS Stop Smoking Services. The study is a collaboration between the South West Regional Tobacco Lead, the SCSRN, The University of Bath, Plymouth SSS and North Somerset SSS.

The aim of this study is to develop and pilot a client satisfaction survey tool and methodology for use by NHS Stop Smoking Services (SSS). The study is a collaboration between the SCSRN, Bath & North East Somerset SSS, The University of Bath and Stirling University.
